When baby is awake and relaxed, it’s the ideal time to capture images that are more lifestyle and less posed. And those awake photographs, looking right into the lens … imagine being able to look back on them in years to come.

Sometimes I think the fear that professional photographs of ourselves are in some way vain or indulgent or that we’re not camera-ready just yet can mean the difference between being visible in our child’s story and forever being the one on the sidelines.
